my mom picks up my youngest cousin, emma, throughout the week. i was kinda in the mood to take some pictures of something! she was my victim. the sun was going down so we didn;t have the best light. she was a trooper though.

i went for a gorgeous walk yesterday around my neighborhood, and i noticed these two tractors in the midst of the pretty green trees. It instantly reminded me of FernGully.

flower crowns & top knot buns.

my sister & i have been wanting to make flower crowns for years! now that we are living together, our creative minds get together and actually make things happen. we took a trip to michael's, and bought supplies to make the prettiest flower crowns. they were so simple and fun to make. we now want to make more and send to our friends that are scattered around different states. :) such a girl thing to do. we love them. we found a great tutorial on one of our new FAVORITE blogs, bleubird vintage. ( <<< check her out, ASAP! her & her family are to die for! )

also, i did my first top knot bun! i love this style. so chic and simple.
